Mission Statement Our mission at Cameleon Power-Sport Apparel is to meet both the protection and fashion needs of women motorcycle riders who desire to express their many styles. We want women to have the capability to go from the bike to the boardroom, the bistro, lunch with friends, or an evening out seamlessly and safely. Through implementing our mission, we desire to create win-win partnerships with other entrepreneurs, women business owners, and up-and-coming clothing, jewelry, and accessory designers. Cameleon Power-Sport Apparel is an online boutique offering Invisible Armor™ protective apparel, fashion-forward unique garments, accessories, and jewelry for women who want to ride their motorcycles in style. Cameleon Power-Sport Apparel was started by Kristina L. Jones, an Indianapolis, Indiana entrepreneur, designer, and avid rider who performed an endless search for stylish protective apparel and fashionable clothing to wear on her rides. Clothing that did not limit her to the times and places she could ride - work, dinner, school, lunch with friends. -
She wanted more than the standard black leather motorcycle jacket. -
Garments that reflected her personal style, fit well, and provided a flattering profile. -
She wanted garments that would enable her to transition from a day at the office, to lunch with fiends, a PTA meeting, or an evening out with her husband - without taking a change of clothes. -
Most of all, she wanted protective wear that let her move freely, stayed in place, was comfortable, and enabled her to ride safely. When her search left her empty-handed, she discovered there were other women, like herself, who wanted these same things. Kristina chose the name Cameleon in honor of a ficticious company she and her study group partners formed in college. Cameleon is the French spelling as Paris is one of the worlds fashion centers and because as a career professional and busy mother she understands women transform through many different roles in a single day. Her goal was to develop figure flattering, protective apparel that allowed women to integrate their personal and often extensive wardrobes into riding yet not compromise on safety. She decided to surround this new protective apparel with an online boutique that provided stylish garments, accessories, and jewelry that can be worn on a motorcycle, and transition women into the many other environments they move through each day. Whether it is the office, a nice restauraunt, or an evening out, she wants these items to reflect the purchaser's individual style. Kristina also wanted her guests to have an exquisite purchasing and customer service experience each and every time they visit her boutique. |
